Ready. Set. Write. Week 6 - Ugh.

How I did on last week’s goals:
Ugh. Do we really need to discuss this?  Moving on.

My goal(s) for this week:
1. Write 4000 words on WIP summer romance.
2. If the week goes as well as planned, write an additional 3000 words.
3. Find balance between family and writing.
(oh look at that, same goals as last time.)

A favorite line from my story OR one word/phrase that sums up what I wrote/revised.
“White boy, you better go on, calling me ‘thicky-thick.’ A woman doesn’t want you insulting her figure. You need to get that gangster crap off your iPod and replace it with some real men like Vandross and Marvin and Teddy Pendergrass.  Now they know how to woo a girl.”

The biggest challenge I faced this week.
Life.  Life has decided that it's a priority and writing is second.  I wake up and do not stop moving/doing until my head hits the pillow.  Rinse and Repeat.  And with calender events the next couple of weeks, I don't see that changing much.

Something I love about my WiP.
Summer romance on a lake.
