Okay, it's not my birthday, but it sure does feel like it. I've been sitting on this news for about a week. The longest week in history! As most of you know, I've been querying on and off for the past year. It's been a frustrating journey because I continued to get requests but none paned out. I knew I was close. But the universe was holding out for that something special. I had always dreamed that I would query an agent, they would request immediately, read it in one sitting, and then call me offering representation. That's exactly what happened. I've been waiting for the agent who felt just as passionately about my story and writing as I do. And now I have that.
