Well everybody else is doing it!
May 25, 2010Hey, I have a riddle for you. Tweet and Retweet are sitting in a boat, Tweet falls out who is left?
Okay, enough nine year old humor. So...I'm a Twitter now. Or is it Tweeter? I have no idea what I am doing but I joined because...EVERY BODY ELSE IS DOING IT. (You just can't say that without sounding whiney.) My beautiful and forever positive critique partner Diana is on there all the time and I thought, what the hay! So feel free to follow me and I'll figure this thing out eventually. So be patient, I have no idea what I am doing. For now I am lurking but soon, very soon when I feel my wings are strong enough, I'll tweet.

Come join the fun! I was so glad to see that you had flown INTO the Twitter coop!
ReplyDeleteI used to love following Twitter. But that was when I was only following a few people. I had to cut back because it was taking up too much time. I didn't have time to work on my wip or follow blogs. But I'll get back to it when my kids are all in school full time in September. :)
ReplyDeleteI just started on Twitter to. I'm still learning.
ReplyDeleteGood luck!
I'm a bit tweeted out lately.
ReplyDeleteIt is fun and you meet lots of great tweeps but I agree with Stina; it takes up so much time. Especially real writing time.
You'll have fun though. Enjoy!
Cynthia – I’m lurking for now.
ReplyDeleteChristine – It’s a scary place. I haven’t just jumped right in yet.
Stina and Karen – I know what you mean. I used to love Facebook but now I’m over the novelty. I started a twitter account to network. I don’t plan to be social chatty like a lot of people do. I just don’t have the time. When I get quiet time, I plan on working on my book.
Glad you found my contest/blog because I really like yours!
ReplyDeleteI just did a double take when I saw a name and not One Eye on your comment. So great to know your name Dana - I'm following you on twitter now.
ReplyDeleteSorry the comment for 't' above is me - I signed into the wrong account
ReplyDeleteThat is so funny. I was like, who is t?
ReplyDeleteYes, gw1i dropped her secret identity for a real one. (got to be professional and all)
I'm seriously impressed with your ability to get the beginning in shape so fast. I probably wouldn't have known where to start and just decompensated. Congrats. :)
ReplyDeleteLove hearing from my friends.♥
