What's up with me?

Well besides hugging my porcelain best friend the last couple of days, I am now in the mountains.  See for yourself (from our balcony):

Yes, that is the slopes right there.  So needless to say (but I'll say it anyway), I am not going to be posting anything worthy until Monday.  And even then "worthy" will be subjective.  When I'm not snowboarding --only done it once before, ouch--  I plan to read a few books, critique for some friends and maybe, just maybe edit my own stuff (though right now I'm in a pickle on how to clean up.)

Have a great weekend!
P.S.If you haven't read "The Help" by Kathryn Stockett you are truly missing out.

  4. That is soooo odd you mentioned The Help because my sister in law just read it and told me I should also. I guess now I must. If you must know....(clears throat)...my sister in law also really enjoyed the books you are about to(or have already started) read. have fun! Hope you're all the way better! No editing while you're in the mountains!

  6. Matt, you crack me up. For the record, I didn’t break a thing!

Karen, it was so beautiful. There were several feet of snow. Loved it!

Valerie, wasn’t it great? Yes, a lot of heart in that book. I cried in several random places.

Nicole, It took me a day of mountain air to fully recover but I ended up having a blast.

Diana! You were there yesterday? We were there too! Too bad we couldn’t have gone sledding together or something. I hope you guys had fun. I know we did.
