On with writing...I love the book Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater. (Yes Void, I'm a fan of kissing) The Merry Sisters of Fate is a blog shared by a trio of authors, Maggie being one of them. Sometimes they blog randomness and sometimes they blog a short story. (Hmmm. That just game me an idea.) Brenna Yovanoff had a short story the other day that I thought was beautiful and sad at the same time. The oddness of how the young girl processes her own grief is how I would if I did not let society dictate me other wise.
So check it out: Fiction by Brenna: The Sleeping Spell

(This is her image she uses. Isn't it beautiful?)
Way to go on the push-ups!! Hope your writing goes well.
ReplyDeleteOk, 1st: 100 Pull-ups! Are you freaking kidding me. I can't do 5 straight LOL. Good job.
ReplyDelete2nd: Yes, she is beautiful.
Wow... 100? I'm in awe.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I would be remise if I did not add that the 100 pull-ups were assisted in sets of twenty (alternating between pull-ups and sprints). Assisted means, my boxing coach holds my feet and I use his grip to push off so don't think I am all Will Smith in I am Legend or Jason Statham in Death Race pimping myself freestyle.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I'm turning my email off or I won't work.
REMISS, I mean remiss. Ugh!
ReplyDeleteLOL. It's ok, we forgive ya
ReplyDeleteWhoa! 100 pull-ups? That's amazing!
ReplyDeleteI just started reading Shiver today. My book I just finished was disappointing and my audiobook has taken a turn for the worst.
Sigh.
I'm hoping Shiver is awesome to make up for the other two!
